Happy Eating Day!

I think this special day is called "Thanksgiving", at least that's what I've heard people say. All I know is that I've smelled some really yummy things cooking ALL DAY LONG--and it's been torture, thankyouverymuch. I don't know if this Thanksgiving is something dogs can really be thankful for, unless of course some lucky dog gets to eat at the table with the Family. Not me. My Family makes me go in another room whenever they eat. (to all of your other dogs out there, don't worry...I do sneak under the table after the meal and scarf up any little crumb or morsel that's dropped, believe you me. And kids are messy! Yeah!)

My mom took pity on me, though, and gave me some thing she called a Greenie. It was pretty darn good, I gobbled it right up just like a turkey. I hope it doesn't give me the squishy poops again, just when I've gotten that under control. After the Greenie, it was time for a nice nap. Ahhh, Thanksgiving. I guess watching the Thanksgiving parade, hanging out with the whole family all day and getting a treat, it's not all bad. A dog could get used to this. Think I'll take a nap now....

Those Lovely Leaves

Look at that lovely pile of brown crunchy leaves. They are just waiting for me to jump into 'em. Oh wait! There I am, hiding in those leaves! Ha, did I fool you? They make the perfect camoflauge for me when I'm stalking my squishy yellow squeaky ball or hunting down the perfect stick. I could lose myself in these leaves....and I often do.

Today I got to get on the school bus!!!!!! My mom took me out to get my brother when he came home, and we got to go up inside! Betty the bus driver gave me a snuggle, she was really nice. I was a little disappointed when I had to get back off--as you know, I'm all ready to go to school with the kids.
