Can I Get In?

Ooooh, a bath. And a bath with my brother, at that. Wonder why Mom didn't let me in? I thought I heard her say that bathing together would make my brother more dirty when he came out than when he got in. Humph! I've never been so insulted! I hear that bath water run and I get so excited, thinking maybe that bath will be mine... but like everything else (a walk, a ride in the car) it always seems more exciting than it actually is and then I just have to whine and fuss whilst I'm actually doing those things. I've just got to make sure that no one forgets about me, I'm always heard. Gotta keep these humans in line, you know!!!

Life is Rough....

..when you're growing and learning. I sleep a lot. Dog oh dog, I love a good sleep. I'll take it anywhere I can get it. I especially love shoes. (apparently Mom does, too...) I went to doggie class last night, and that wears me out. I went on a walk this morning, and that wears me out. I always get so excited for the walk...as soon as I see Mom grab my Easy Walk harness thingie, I know that means we're going out. But then once we're out, I get kind of scared and Mom really has to coax me along. As soon as we turn that corner though, and I realize we're heading back home, then I walk really well! I mean, walking that whole block is a big deal for little me! I wonder if I'll ever love to walk as much as it seems other dogs do?

Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy my many naps. Ahhhh, life is good.

My and My Best Friend

Another day, another play date with Charlie! Hooray! This time it was where we met, at the play group place. At first I was worried because he was late--I was afraid he wouldn't show up at all. But then, there he was, and and we immediately were off and wrestling. This other dog kept trying to herd us around and break it up--I wonder if she thought we were fighting? It was a bit annoying as Charlie and I kept getting interrupted, but at least we get to play outside of this group, too. I think I have a new best friend! What a great way to start out the new year. Yahoo!
