Bone Voyage!

This is my new favorite place. Mom and Dad bought this cool couch/table/bench thing and I love sitting here on my sister's blanket and looking out the window!!! I can't get up on it by myself, but I can jump down. Maybe if I tried really hard I could jump up that high, but why not make the humans work? I kind of like having them lift me up there at my command. heh heh heh.

Saturday morning Mom didn't take me to my usual play group, but she had Charlie come instead! Yay! As usual we had great fun, especially playing tug of war with this braided fleecey thing that my Auntie Kim gave me. Both Charlie and I really gave it our all, but I'm not even really sure who won in the end. But winning isn't important, right? It's that you have fun. And we always have fun!

Mom has mysteriously been talking to some woman on the phone about me going to stay at her house while the Family is away for a week. Hmmmm. She was actually talking to me about it, telling me that I'll have 2 dogs and 4 cats to play with and that the lady is very nice. (by the way, what's a cat?! OH yeah...I think I remember seeing one once...!) I've heard The Family mention something about a hotel they are staying in. I decided to investigate so I went online to the hotel's web site, and look at what it said:

"Special treatment for both pets and their owners begins with a personal note from the general manager with information on hotel pet services, local dog-walking routes, and area pet services, like veterinarians, pet shops, groomers, and much more. We're the most pet friendly hotels around, and you'll realize it from the moment you and your pet check in. All pets receive their own gifts including a bowl and a special treat to start their vacation. Additional items available for guests with pets include dog and cat beds (different sizes), leashes and collars (different sizes), rawhide bones, catnip, scratch pole, pet video, litter boxes and litter, pooper scoopers. "

So WHY may I ask you, am I not going on this trip with them?? Sheesh! This sounds like a luxury place for a pedigree pooch, no doubt. Sigh. I guess I should trust the fact that my Family thinks I'll have more fun at this lady's house. I hope they're right! I don't know if the lady will let me get on her computer--probably not--so I won't be able to post for the next week or so. Wish me luck at this strange place! Maybe I'll have some good stories to share when I get back! Bon Voyage!
