Look At Me!!

Look at me, I'm on a podcast! That's me with Kim, Stephanie, Mom and Cousin Ann--posing in a photo for Mom's internet radio show called Feminine Hijinx. It's a bit girlie for me, of course, but any chance I can get to get myself in the spotlight, I'll take. I mean, I AM pedigree after all. I could hear these ladies downstairs giggling and laughing--I just had to be a part of it! Sighhh...happiness is being surrounded by women. Canine or homo-sapien, I'm not picky.

Sadly, this is the only photo of me with Cousin Ann, the really nice lady that came to visit us. She was so nice to me! Every morning I'd go downstairs where she was sleeping to give her a nice good morning lick, but one morning I went down there and all I saw was an empty bed. :-( I hope she comes back soon!

Doggone Busy!

Whew! I must apologize to any of my readers out there who've missed me...I've been a busy busy doggie! We've had company visiting and me being the polite host (which means letting company pet and fawn all over me...it's a tough job but somebody has to do it...) means not much time for anything else.

One of the most exciting things to happen to me lately was playing in something called 'snow'!!! I had never seen this stuff before, it was really cool! (no pun intended!) It took me a few minutes to figure it all out, but before long I was running around, digging and burrowing. Weeee! I hope we get more of that stuff, now it's just hard and crunchy on the ground and not so fun.

I have to say, I think this Christmas thing is a good thing. I got my very own present from under the tree, a green dog squeaky toy. It is my favorite toy, by far! I love driving everyone crazy around me by playing and playing with it, making lots of noise. In the morning when I woke up, the sock my brother and sister made for me was filled with MORE toys! Whoa! I was surrounded by new playthings, it was great! It made me pretty tired.

At some point that day we went over to another house where there were two other dogs, Sadie and Toby. All I wanted to do was play, but they really wanted nothing to do with me. What is up with that?? Toby may not have wanted to get frisky, but he sure wanted me to smell his behind all the time...for some reason he kept sticking his rear end in my face. I mean, I like getting to know another dog as much as the next, but it was getting a little much! Ah well, it's always fun to see new places and meet new dogs and people. But it was also nice to be back in my home sweet home.

So things should quiet down now around here, and hopefully I'll get back to blogging more regularly!!
