Move Over, Paris

Look at me! I had my grooming today at Petsmart, don't I look handsome?? I know I shouldn't sound my own squeaky toy, but sometimes a dog just can't help himself.

Mom and I drove to Petsmart in what she calls "Phat Thunder"--why she named her car that I will never know. I'm still not sure about the whole car thing--it makes me kind of nervous. I just have to let out a few whimpers and whines to make sure Mom gives me extra attention...but overall, I did pretty well. After Mom left me there a nice lady named Barb shampooed me, trimmed me, trimmed my toes, dried me and even gave me some breath spray. It was all pretty scary, I have to say. I was really happy to have Mom show up to get me. I suppose I could be a little offended at the fact that Barb thought I had bad breath but frankly, at that point I was too over the whole grooming process to care. Sniffing around that Petsmart place was sure fun, though. Lots and lots of smells, all kinds of smells. Yay, smells!

I came home and passed out in my house. Talk about your pooped pup! I think I even heard Mom talking about some puppy class tonight, too? Who does she think I am with all of these social engagements, Paris Hilton??

My Fro

Mom says I need a haircut. It's a good thing I have an appointment at the grooming salon at Petsmart tomorrow! Personally I don't know what all the fuss is about, but I suppose it's not very dignified for a Cavachon like me to have such a fro. When my hair is freshly washed it is sort of funny looking. I must keep up my appearances, you know!

Digby Indeed!

Well, turns out they didn't call me Digby for nothin'. Boy, can I dig. I found this nice little patch of dusty dirt in the back yard and ooooo! It feels good to dig in there!

We took a long walk and I did great, if I do say so myself. (and I do.) There's a photo of my dad and I...Mom could barely get a photo we were booking along so quickly. We went all around what they called the 'old neighborhood', even visiting a nice person called Linda who gave me lots of loves.

We stopped at this park that had these funny little rocks all around it--they felt tickly on my feet! I was running around like a mad-man, it was really fun. Hope we can go back there soon!

Today was not so fun--I had to go back to that place this morning where the nice lady in the white coat was. I didn't see her today, and this other lady gave me a big pokey thing in my back. She was very nice too, and she also gave me some treats, but I don't see why she had to pinch me like that! My mom seemed excited about it for some strange reason, she says it means we can go more places and see more people now. I don't get it myself, but, I guess since she feeds me I'd better just go along!
